This cake was so easy, thank goodness. I had to make it on a work night, after meeting from which I did not get home until 10 PM. So I went with the easiest, but most elegant, look I could get away with for this wedding shower cake at work. The cake is vanilla with buttercream icing. What a great technique to get such a great look with minimal effort!
