Softball Cupcake "Cake"

Had a request for a softball "cupcake cake." I wasn't 100% excited, because cupcake cakes are not my favorite. I hate that you can't get them symmetrical . . . They were, however, what the birthday girl wanted and practical, as she took them to a game and they were easy to hand out during the game. I heard later that the birthday girl hit and scored after eating hers. :o) So, maybe they're not so bad after all!

Softball Team Party Cake

This is a two layer cake, half chocolate and half french vanilla. Chocolate mousse and vanilla creme filling. Butter cream frosting. The softball is made from rice krispy treat covered with buttercream. The logo is freehanded. Hope they enjoyed their cake!
