Wrapped Gift Birthday Cake

Made this cake for a dear friend of mine. It's chocolate fudge cake, with chocolate fudge filling, buttercream frosting and marshmallow fondant accents. I used pearl dust (edible) to shimmer up the ribbons on top, as this friend has such a "sparkly" personality. :o)

 

Whimsical Topsy Turvy Birthday Cake!

Topsy turvy and whimsical cake I made for the two daughters of a coworker. The cake is vanilla with raspberry filling. It's covered with buttercream frosting underneath marshmallow fondant. I loved how it turned out! Was honored to make it, as the sisters chose it in place of their traditional separate birthday dinners out!
