This is just a cheerful little chocolate birthday cake with chocolate mousse filling and buttercream filling. Don't daisies and ladybugs just make you smile?!! And I liked this color combo a lot, too. It disappeared from the counter at work so I think maybe it tasted alright, as well. ;o)

Oregon Ducks Birthday Cake
Well, this one was a STRETCH for me, being an Oregon Duck cake and all . . . lol. As a BSU Bronco fan (their biggest, I think) I had to put my pride away and bring out the sportsmanship to get this cake done. It's 11 x 15 and half chocolate with chocolate mousse filling, half golden vanilla with vanilla creme filling and all buttercream frosting. The football is rice krispy treat. The design is all free-handed.

Ladybugs, Butterflies, & Bees 1st Birthday Cake
This cake duo was very fun to make! It matches the party ware called Ladybugs, butterflies, & bees. Cake is golden vanilla with vanilla creme filling and buttercream frosting. The design is free-handed. The smash cake is all cake and frosting, no filling.

Oregon State Beavers Birthday Cake
This one is a two layer triple chocolate cake with chocolate mousse filling and buttercream frosting. I free-handed the design. This was a fun cake to make! For those of you who don't know me, I am a HUGE Boise State Bronco fan. :o) My brother went to Oregon State, so he's of course a Beaver fan. When our mom asked me to make this cake for him I couldn't resist a little friendly ribbing, hee hee. So I hid the BSU Bronco on the back.

It was great fun, he didn't see it until I was showing him that I had a good photo of his cake on my camera, then said I had one of the back too . . . the look on his face was priceless, ha ha! He said "You didn't!" and spun that cake around so fast . . . so worth it! GO BRONCOS!!!! LOL

If you got to this page hoping to see real BSU Bronco cakes, you can CLICK HERE to see my other Boise State cakes! Thanks for looking!

Butterflies Baby Shower Cake
2 layer baby shower cake. Triple chocolate cake with chocolate mousse filling and buttercream frosting. The image is free-handed.
This cake was for the same baby (or I just know a lot of people who named their baby Daphne, lol) but different baby shower. It's chocolate cake with raspberry filling and buttercream frosting with marshmallow fondant accents. That giant butterfly (Motha? ha!) is rice krispy treat covered with mmf.

Addy's Baptism Cake
This cake made me happy, because the baby girl it was for makes me happy. :o) Made this 2 layer 10.5" cake for my niece, Addison, who was baptized on August 1st. It's a vanilla cake, with chocolate mousse filling. Buttercream frosting accented with sugar pearls.

Pirate Ship Thank You Cake
Made this 11 x 15 2 layer vanilla cake with chocolate cream cheese pudding filling and buttercream frosting for Pathways Middle school teacher appreciation day. I hope they "appreciated" their cake and that it tasted great for them, as they deserve it. :o) Free-handed the pirate boat and scene.

Fabulous at Forty!
This is a simple two layer chocolate fudge cake with a chocolate cream cheese pudding filling and buttercream icing. Forty doesn't have to be gloom and doom, it can be fun!

Gold Digger Birthday Cake
I was a bit hesitant about this cake. Gold nuggets? I was afraid they would look like nuggets of a different kind, hee hee! (If that had happened, we'd have had to change the sign to read "Happy Birthday, You Old Poop!" LOLOLOL) As it turned out, the nuggets did look goldish and he was happy with his cake. The cake itself was a golden yellow cake with vanilla creme filling and buttercream frosting. The "nuggets" are rice krispy treats covered with buttercream frosting and edible gold dust.

57 Chevy Anniversary Cake
This cake is much bigger than it looks! It's actually TWO 11 x 15" triple layer cakes, side by side. Half is french vanilla with vanilla creme filling and half is chocolate fudge with chocolate mousse filling. The cake is covered in buttercream frosting. The car (a labor of love, as it took several hours to complete) is constructed of rice krispy treat and covered in marshmallow fondant. It does have a cardboard support underneath and the windshield is made of plastic from a transfer sheet, bordered with mm fondant, but everything else is 100% edible. The trees are rice krispy treat covered in buttercream frosting. This cake would feed upwards of 100 people.

Anniversary Cake
This is a french vanilla layered cake with vanilla creme filling and buttercream frosting. The customer was adding a wedding couple figure to the cake, which I didn't get to see, so the last picture here is one where I photo-shopped in a topper to see how it would look. This customer was thrilled with her cake, even took the time to call me later with compliments galore. That made my day!

Hawaiian Luau Cake (complete with vacationing penguin!)
This is a BIG cake . . . would feed 75-85 people. Bottom tier is 4 layers of chocolate fudge, middle tier is 2 layers of cherry chip, and top layer is 2 layers of vanilla. Buttercream frosting, with mm fondant accents. The "sand" is crushed vanilla wafers. Tree trunks are pirouette cookies.
