50's Jukebox Birthday Cake

Surprise! I have to say, it was SO MUCH FUN to make this cake for my mom, in secrecy, then drive it over to her work (a 1 hour drive mind you) and completely surprise her with it. :0) I think she about fell off her chair. Never mind that she wouldn't let anyone in her office eat it that day (she wanted my dad to see it first, lol, so they ate it the next day!). It's a chocolate cake, with French vanilla creme filling, buttercream icing and marshmallow fondant accents. She loved it! And I loved surprising her! Oh, the jukebox theme fits my mom perfectly, totally her era and she LOVES her golden oldie music!

Forty and Fabulous Birthday Cake

The F words that enter our lives sooner or later: Forty and Fabulous! I do hope this chocolate cake fit the fabulous description. : ) Vanilla creme filling, buttercream frosting and marshmallow fondant. Mmmmmmmmm.

Whimsical Musical Birthday Cake (Neon Colors)

Another cake for a teenager, turning 18. Dang, they grow up FAST!She was at the party where the other NEON cake was at (see below) and wanted a similar cake to celebrate with her family. :o) I wanted to make it kind of whimsical for her, and keep those trendy colors. She likes music so I used the notes to try to give it some personality. It's two tiers, 2 layers each, of french vanilla cake with french vanilla creme filling and all buttercream frosting. Freehand design.



**Side note** When I went to deliver this cake, no one was home! So mom said to go through the garage and leave it on the kitchen counter . . . I did, but only after she assured me there were NO animals in the house, lol!

18th Birthday: Zebra Print, Music and Dancing

What's black and white and red all over? LOL This is a two tiered golden vanilla cake with vanilla creme filling and buttercream frosting. It was for an 18 year olds birthday, from one of her best friends who just wanted to give her a cool looking cake with things she liked, incorporating music, dancing and a boom box, plus zebra print and the color red. Here's how it turned out! Fun, huh?!!

Guitar Boy BIrthday Cake

This is a two tiered square cake, 6" and 12" tiers. It is chocolate fudge with chocolate mousse filling and buttercream frosting. The boy and guitar are marshmallow fondant.

Hannah Montana Cake

I made this cake for a very special niece. It's 2 tiers, both were "funfetti." All buttercream frosting with some paper cutout accents.
