Scooby Doobie Doo! Birthday cake!

This cake was a special request by a very good friend of mine's daughter and it was so much fun to design it myself! I did piece together a few different ideas that I'd seen, and I love the overall effect. Scooby Doo is of course made out of marshmallow fondant. The cake is vanilla with buttercream icing and white chocolate cream cheese filling. The collar/tag, the mini birthday cake and the balloon are also marshmallow fondant.

Black Cat Birthday Cake

Another Black Cat Birthday Cake! Made for someone who saw my first black cake on this very blog. :0) This cake is 2 9" layers of vanilla cake with vanilla creme filling, buttercream frosting and hand formed marshmallow fondant accents. The original black cat cake can be seen here: http://catscakecreations.blogspot.com/search/label/Cat?m=0
I did do a couple of things differently (flowered rug, 6 on the front, gray whiskers) and they were deliberate. I don't ever want to make the same cake twice! :0)
