Rocking Stage Birthday Cake

Had a little fun "setting the stage" for my sons birthday, with this cake with a guitar, amplifier, stage floor and cords. Cake is yellow with chocolate mousse filling and sour cream chocolate frosting, and hand formed marshmallow fondant accents.

Fishing Birthday Cake

Swimming Birthday Cake

Made this last minute cake for a 5 year old who was also celebrating graduation from her swimming class. Vanilla cake with chocolate mousse filling and buttercream frosting with hand formed marshmallow fondant accents.

50th Wedding Anniversary Cake

This cake was made for a couple who eloped 50 years ago and never got to have their own wedding cake. With that in mind, I tried to make it pretty elaborate, with a lot of hand piping. The cake is golden vanilla with vanilla creme filling and buttercream frosting. The gold balls are made of marshmallow fondant rolled in gold pearl dust (edible). Was a lot of work but worth it to make a cake that helped make their event a little more special.

Minnesota Twins Baseball Birthday Cake

Can't get much more all-American than this red white and blue Twins baseball birthday cake. This one is vanilla cake and chocolate mousse filling covered with buttercream frosting and hand formed marshmallow fondant accents.

Alligator/Crocodile Birthday Cake

My adorable niece requested this cake and it was really fun to create! He (the cake) is carved from 2 layers of vanilla cake with chocolate filling, then covered with buttercream frosting and marshmallow fondant accents. I piped the buttercream using a star tip to give him a bumpy texture. :0) I thought he turned out pretty cute and I think Aubrey did too!

Minesweeper Birthday Cake

Made this cake for my son at his request. :0) 2 layers of chocolate cake with chocolate filling and buttercream frosting. Modeled it after the digital cake from the Minesweeper video game.
