Baby Shower Cupcakes

Decided to go sweet, simple and neutral for these little cuties. Used a fondant mold for the flowers, but hand formed the other accents. Vanilla cupcakes with buttercream frosting and, of course, marshmallow fondant.

Happy Birthday Song Cake

Twenty years later and I may have run out of themes for my oldest son, ha ha. He wasn't much help with ideas, do I just opted to wrap the birthday song around the cake, lol. Not my favorite but it worked out ok. :) Yellow cake with chocolate frosting, always his fave.

Whimsical Sweet Sixteen Birthday Cake

Vanilla cake, vanilla creme filling and buttercream frosting with marshmallow fondant accents. Tried to make it fun and whimsical . . . Like the girl it was made for. :)

Angels Baseball Birthday Cake

Colorful and fun cake! Funfetti cake with vanilla creme filling and buttercream frosting. There are some toys on the cake, but I made the backpack, map, stars and presents from marshmallow fondant.

Baby Feet And Polka Dot Baby Shower Cake

Just a cute little cake: chocolate cake with buttercream frosting, marshmallow fondant and sugar pearl accents. Sometimes sweet and simple is just right. :)

Doctor Who Tardis Birthday Cake

When my niece asked for this cake, I had to do some research as I had no clue what a Tardis was . . . Lol. Doctor Who fans might appreciate this knock off from the cult followed television show. The cake is vanilla with vanilla creme filling and buttercream frosting. The Tardis is rice krispy treat covered with buttercream and marshmallow fondant. I think Aubrey loved it. :)

Hello Kitty Daisy Birthday Cake with Pennant Banner

Was so happy to make this cake for the daughter of a friend and former coworker. Chocolate cake with chocolate creme filling, buttercream frosting and marshmallow fondant accents. I thought this cake turned out fun and festive and just the right touch of girly. :)

Pinkalicious Birthday Cake

Made this "sweet" cake for my bosses daughter. Vanilla cake with buttercream frosting and marshmallow fondant accents. Cupcake top is rice krispy treat.

Kind of Crazy Birthday Cake

Made this cake for Jesse's 14th birthday . . . He's so funny, just wants yellow cake with chocolate frosting, so I tried to keep decor to a minimum, lol. At least it was chocolate and white chocolate accents which he still likes. :)

Ruffled Purple Ombre Cake

Made this small ruffled cake for the daughter of close friends, who just graduated from high school. School colors are purple and black, but wanted a more feminine look so I opted for the ruffles and flowers. I probably should have arranged the flowers differently, but I still loved the effect. Chocolate cake with chocolate fudge filling and buttercream frosting. Should taste delicious! I bought 2 of those glass leaf plates, specifically so I could use one with this cake, and I think it's a great accent.

Rose Covered Cake

Made this for the daughter of a good friend . . . have never done this technique before, but I definitely will again, as I LOVE the look and it was not too difficult. This is vanilla cake with raspberry filling. Went along perfectly with the old fashioned theme at her daughter's graduation party. Oh, and I also loved the glass plate I found to put the cake on . . . shaped like a leaf, so pretty.

"Tiffany Blue" Graduation cake for Shauney and her friend Kendall. I loved the shade of blue, so pretty. Vanilla cake, raspberry filling and buttercream frosting. The grad cap is marshmallow fondant over Rice Krispie treat, and the diploma is mmf also. Congrats, Shauney!!!

Hot Pink and Zebra Striped Diva Graduation Cake

Diva graduation cake for my BFF Annella!  Congrats to her on a job well done. Cake was chocolate with chocolate fudge filling, buttercream frosting and marshmallow fondant accents, and some sugar pearls. Annella's nephew Elijah asked "Why is there a feather on that cake?" Well, it's obvious isn't it? Ordinary cakes don't have feathers, but this was a special cake made for a special lady, his Aunt Annella. She earned a "feather in her cap (cake)" and then some. I also made some monogrammed vanilla cupcakes to go with it, and glad I did, as they all disappeared, along with the cake! :-)
