Scooby Doobie Doo! Birthday cake!
This cake was a special request by a very good friend of mine's daughter and it was so much fun to design it myself! I did piece together a few different ideas that I'd seen, and I love the overall effect. Scooby Doo is of course made out of marshmallow fondant. The cake is vanilla with buttercream icing and white chocolate cream cheese filling. The collar/tag, the mini birthday cake and the balloon are also marshmallow fondant.
Small, Simple, Elegant Wedding Cake
This cake was for a very special couple with a very special love story, several years in the making. It was last minute but I was very excited to be able to make this for them. The bride surprisingly enough allowed me to design the cake myself! I went with her colors of ivory and deep red and tried to keep it as classy and simple and elegant as I could. The cake is vanilla with buttercream frosting, raspberry filling, and the flowers are marshmallow fondant. The other accents are silver draggees.
Olaf Kit Kat Hot Tub Cake
I couldn't help myself, I saw another version of this little cake somewhere, and I knew I just had to make it. The cake itself is vanilla covered with buttercream surrounded by Kit Kat's. Olaf and the other snowmen are marshmallow fondant. So cute, I thought! And do you notice the snow man who lost his carrot nose, well,l of course, because he's melting! Just had to have some fun. This cake was a hit, and I'm glad I gave yet another Frozen cake, a try.
'Frozen' Barbie Cake
Frozen Anna Barbie cake! And really, what would the world have done without another 'Frozen' cake?!! In all seriousness, how could I just "let it go" ?LOL okay I'll stop. Actually this was a very fun cake to make for my lovely niece, Addy, and I had a lot of fun making it. The cake itself, for the doll, is vanilla with vanilla cream filling and the bottom tier, the stand, is chocolate cake with vanilla cream filling. Buttercream icing and, of course, lots of marshmallow fondant.
I Dream of Jeannie Birthday Cake
'I Dream of Jeannie' birthday cakefor my good friend, Mely. Such a fun theme, and a great blast from the past. I made the lamp/vase out of rice crispy treat and marshmallow fondant, tried to make it look like the pink smoke was coming from the top. The cake itself is chocolate with vanilla créme filling and buttercream frosting. Had a lot of fun with it and it really did bring back memories of that old TV show!

Centennial Patriots Baseball Birthday Cake
Wow-an ENTIRE MONTH has gone by and I have not updated this blog! Well. Time to change that. So, this cake is for a special young 16-year-old friend of ours. Brock loves baseball, pours his heart into it and so I thought this cake would be fitting, especially with him starting out with his new team, the Centennial Patriots. His cake is chocolate with a delicious peanut butter cream cream filling (it was amazing, wanted to eat it right out of the bowl). Buttercream frosting, marshmallow fondant accents.

Bowling Shirt Birthday Cake
Not sure how I felt about this cake …But it was fun to do! Bowling shirt cake in 49er colors with a few bonus mini cupcakes with little bowling balls on them. The collar was kind of a pain, had to look at a fabric pattern to figure it out, ha ha. Chocolate/vanilla marbled cake, buttercream icing and a little marshmallow fondant. Cake was made using an 11" X 15" pan, cut off one end and shaped the sleeves from that. I ended up using nearly all of the cake, which I love, as it means more cake for the guests. 😊

Diva Movie Star Birthday Cake
Made this cake for my niece, who left the creativity up to me as long as somewhere in the cake I used teal and sea foam green. Now, my Gracie girl is as creative an 11 year old as you'll ever meet, so I commend her for letting me play designer and have a little fun. Chocolate cake (nothing but chocolate for this princess, her mom says its part of her DNA), vanilla créme filling, buttercream icing and marshmallow fondant accents. The border around the middle of the cake is meant to look like film strip, a little more challenging to use her colors, but I loved the overall effect. Used silver edible pearls to add some shiny glitz, and the silhouette, which I felt classed it up a bit. My little star loved her cake and even hammed it up for the camera. Love that kid.

Tropical Birthday "No Worries, Be Happy"
A 50th birthday cake to help fellow Highlander Suzi celebrate her guy. :) Chocolate cake, raspberry filling, buttercream icing and marshmallow fondant accents. Palm trees on top are rice krispy treat covered with marshmallow fondant. The "sand" is graham cracker and sugar that I ground through a fine mesh to get it very fine. Surf and turf cupcakes on the side. Was a fun cake to make!

Frozen Olaf Birthday Cake w/ Cupcakes
Fun cake, but still several hours of work. Love how the trees turned out, but they were time consuming, and Olaf required a little balancing/construction work. This may convince me to start setting prices, lol. Still, I do like how it turned out. Banana cake, buttercream frosting and lots of marshmallow fondant. Trees are rice krispy treat underneath buttercream and mmf. Chocolate cupcakes.
