This cake is 4 nine inch rounds cut in half and placed on end. Chocolate cream cheese frosting holding them together. Yellow cake with chocolate mousse filling. Buttercream frosting. The label and cap are marshmallow fondant, as are the "pills."
my name is Tanja, I'm from Germany and found your amazing pharmacists cake via internet. A very good friend of mine is finishing her studies in Phamacy. Since it's a very exhausting study me and my friends want to make something special for her, just like your cake. Is it possible to send me a recipe if you have one? Or just the ingredients and a little how to?
I would be sooo greatful to give her a cake like this. It's amazing!!
I'm a working mom (in a hospital not a bakery!) who happens to enjoy making cakes. I started making them for my children when they were small, after my mother in law bought me an old decorating kit from an antiques shop. I've enjoyed it so much that I have continued to make unique cakes for my children, as well as family, friends and sometimes others who need a creative concoction (if I'm available)! I'm completely self-taught, and always learning. Half the fun is in learning a new trick or trying something completely different. I love it!
