About Me

My photo

I'm a working mom (in a hospital not a bakery!) who happens to enjoy making cakes. I started making them for my children when they were small, after my mother in law bought me an old decorating kit from an antiques shop. I've enjoyed it so much that I have continued to make unique cakes for my children, as well as family, friends and sometimes others who need a creative concoction (if I'm available)! I'm completely self-taught, and always learning. Half the fun is in learning a new trick or trying something completely different. I love it!
